Both are indoor butterfly drop cables with a 2.0×3.0 mm profile. GJXH uses metallic (steel) strength members; GJXFH uses non‑metallic FRP/KFRP. For indoor and lightning/EMI‑safe routing we recommend GJXFH. For outdoor aerial self‑supporting runs, choose GJYXCH (steel) or GJYXFCH (all‑dielectric).

What is the minimum bend radius of the drop cable?▾

For G.657A bend‑insensitive fiber the minimum bend radius is 20 mm static / 40 mm dynamic (and as tight as 15 mm static for G.657A2). For G.652 fiber it is 30 mm static / 60 mm dynamic. This is why G.657A2 is preferred for tight in‑home routing.

How is the FTTH drop cable terminated in the field?▾

The cable supports both cold splicing (fast connectors / mechanical splices) and fusion splicing. Its groove‑designed sheath strips cleanly without special tools, and it is compatible with SC/APC, LC and other field connectors — including factory pre‑terminated options from HUAXIN.

SC APC vs SC UPC — which connector for FTTH?▾

APC (Angled Physical Contact, green) reflects return loss away from the core and is the standard for PON/FTTH because it minimizes back‑reflection across the splitter tree. UPC (blue) is used where return loss is less critical. For GPON/EPON FTTH we recommend SC/APC drop terminations.
