What Is an MPO to LC Breakout Cable?
An MPO to LC breakout cable — also known as an MPO-LC fan-out jumper or MPO fan-out assembly — is a factory-terminated patch assembly with one MPO/MTP multi-fiber connector on the trunk side and multiple LC or SC duplex connectors fanning out on the device side. It converts a high-density MPO backbone into individual device-ready legs.
In HUAXIN MPO pre-terminated patch panels, the MPO-LC branch jumper lives inside the module cassette: the rear MPO adapter accepts the incoming trunk, while the front LC duplex adapters present clean ports for short equipment patch cords. The same fan-out construction is also supplied as a standalone cable for custom racks and SAN environments.
